Cancer Health Coaching
Cancer changes everything—but it doesn’t change who you are at your core. Cancer Health Coaching sessions offer a compassionate, practical space to remember that you are more than a diagnosis and to build a life that feels meaningful, supported, and fully alive, no matter where you are on the journey.
Drawing from my own cancer experience, my background in counseling and coaching, mindset work, and the ten healing factors identified in Dr. Kelly Turner’s research (featured in Radical Remission and Radical Hope), I help you explore evidence‑informed ways to support your body, mind, and spirit. Together, we look at things like deepening emotional support, processing difficult feelings, increasing joy, shifting beliefs, nourishing your body, connecting to a sense of purpose, and more—always at a pace that feels safe and doable for you.
This is not about “fighting harder” or doing everything perfectly. It’s about creating a sacred pause in the middle of medical appointments, scans, and statistics where you can exhale, feel what you feel, and receive support that sees the whole of you. In our work, all of you is welcome: fear, anger, grief, hope, and the desire to live your best life right now—not someday “after this is over.”
What we can work on together
In Cancer Health Coaching, we might:
Explore ten healing factors, or lifestyle changes, in simple, accessible ways so you can integrate them into your daily life
Process big emotions and fears in a grounded, compassionate space, so you don’t have to carry them alone
Gently shift unhelpful beliefs and patterns, supporting a more hopeful and empowered mindset
Create nourishing daily rhythms that support your energy, nervous system, and overall well‑being
Reconnect with joy, purpose, creativity, and relationships so life feels bigger than cancer
Support caregivers and loved ones in understanding what you need and how to walk alongside you
Every session is tailored to you. There is no rigid program you must conform to—only a collaborative process that honors your body, intuition, values, and goals.

Who is this for?
Cancer Health Coaching is a good fit if you are:
Newly diagnosed and wanting emotional and practical support alongside your medical team
In active treatment and seeking tools for coping, hope, and everyday life
Post‑treatment but feeling “stuck between worlds” and unsure how to move forward
Living with metastatic or chronic cancer and wanting to create as much quality, meaning, and peace as possible
A loved one or caregiver who wants support navigating your own emotions and role
You don’t need to know anything about Radical Remission to benefit. If you are curious about integrative, mind‑body, and lifestyle approaches—and want a guide who understands the emotional landscape of cancer—you’re in the right place.
My Approach
Clients often describe me as calm, deeply compassionate, and able to hold space for big emotions without trying to “fix” or rush them. In our sessions, you can expect:
Nonjudgmental presence – a place to say the "unsayable" and feel fully heard
Gentle structure – questions, reflections, and simple practices that support clarity and next steps
Collaboration – you are the expert on your body and life; I’m here as a skilled, trauma‑informed guide
Integration – we weave mindset work, somatic awareness, spiritual or existential questions (if you wish), and practical action into something that feels grounded and real
You are not just surviving a diagnosis—you are still a whole person with dreams, preferences, and a future worth tending. Coaching gives you a space to remember that.
As a cancer thriver, I have personally used the ten healing factors in my own life and healing journey. What I love most about these factors, and the research Dr. Turner has done on thousands of people who have radically healed themselves, is that they are personal to each and every individual. There is no one right way to heal and whether you are choosing a more conventional path, a natural path, or a more integrated approach, these ten healing factors can be applied to your life.
While Dr. Turner's research focused on cancer patients, these ten healing factors can be used by anyone to improve your quality of life and immune system.
